ABC Day Nursery, Wrexham
ABC is a long standing nursery in Cefn Y Bedd, set in the beautiful grounds of Gwastad Hall, and has been owned and run for nearly eight years by Sarah Love whose own children previously attended. The nursery is registered for 35 children from birth to eight years old by the Care and Social Services Inspectorate for Wales (CCIW).
We invite applications for places from the Wrexham and border areas and attempt to accommodate children with special needs wherever possible. Full and Part Time places are available. Where there is a waiting list for places preference will be given to brothers or sisters of children already attending ABC.
Our Nursery is specifically designed to suit the needs of young children, with large, bright newly decorated play rooms all complete with modern equipment and a variety of age appropriate toys.
Not only do we have an outdoor play area, we have the entire grounds of an amazing private home, where the children spend as much time as possible. There are manicured lawns, small copses, wildlife, stunning floral beds, topiary, meandering paths, trees aged hundreds of years, saplings, and the all important overwhelming Mother Nature for the children to explore and learn to understand. We pride ourselves that the children are continually learning through nature on an everyday basis, in surroundings that are normally associated with visits to a stately home.
Our child-centred approach promotes the development of creativity, individuality and self-confidence, whilst delivering the highest standards of care.
The Nursery also aims to provide a happy and comfortable working environment for its staff and encourages further training.

Before & After School Service
The nursery provides a pick up from school service and after school care for the nursery children at the local Primary Schools We also provide Early Years Entitlement to those children living in Wales for the school term after their third birthday. We accept childcare vouchers from a variety of providers, and are proud to offer flexible bespoke childcare. We fully appreciate how difficult it can be to juggle work and family commitments and strive to make your lives easier.
